Researchers in Boston have discovered that two minds can link and communicate with one another even at great distances. The study was carried out at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as well as with researchers based at Harvard University.
The scientists, robotics engineers and neuroscientists, collaborated to find that communication can be done telepathically from large distances by activating certain neural pathways in the brain. In fact, the researchers discovered that mind to mind communication can be accomplished even at a distance of 5,000 miles.
The scientists measured the brain activity of two people, one of which was trying to mentally communicate with the other. They used electrodes attached to the head to read the brain activity and the computer being used could translate the thoughts and controlled the communication. The computer was used as sort of a middle man, a go-between, between the two minds that were attempting to communicate.
The scientists were able to send the words “ciao” and “hola” from a position in India to a position in France. The computer was part of an internet connected electroencephalogram. Four people, ages 28-50, were recruited for the research study. When the messages were received, they came a small flashes of light in their peripheral vision. One person was sending one word messages via the computer EEG while three others attempted to receive.
The holistic and metaphysical world has long been aware of such mind to mind communication as well as telepathy. Science, however, is coming late to the game and the experiment seems the beginning of further research for science into the phenomenon.
